Marathon From Home with BSK

The crew are always up for a challenge, so when asked would they do a marathon relay, each walking 5.2 miles they said YES! Other supporters are also joining the BSK team and completing marathons of their own.
Our campaign is now complete. 109 supporters helped us raise £4,698.00

The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileEach and every one of the crew are so passionate about their roles at BSK, so helping raise funds for something they love so much comes naturally to them.
Together, they want to raise as much money as possible, so that they and all their fellow crew members can continue to receive training and employment opportunities.
As well as the crew, other supporters are doing their own versions of the marathon to help raise funds for Beresford Street Kitchen, a social enterprise that provides training and employment for people with learning disabilities and autism. Please support us so that we can help them gain the experience they need to find employment in the community!
TEAM MEMBERS:
Georgie, our fundraising manager will be running the marathon over 2 days, walking a leg of the relay and dancing a marathon at home, so a total of 58 miles will be completed.
Jason Dodd has decided to dance the marathon in a weekend from the comfort of his home, apparently there may be wigs involved.
Christa Roberts was due to do a 24hr walk for BSK this year but like many other things this was cancelled due to Covid. This did not stop Christa from training and she has walked and ran an INCREDIBLE amount of miles so far this year. She also completed the North Coast Challenge walk in which she came 3rd as she ran half of it, then did the Double Top relay so ran 20 miles from LEtacq to St Catherines along the cliffs!! To finish it off Christa has entered the Jersey Marathon from home and we are really pleased to have her in our team! Through all her previous events she has already raised an amazing £700 for BSK!!! Thank you Christa for everything you have done for BSK!
Last Minute entry - Family D'orleans will be completing their marathon at home! Rob D'Orlean is a support worker at BSK and his family have always been so supportive of BSK! Go Guys!!!
Your donation will make a difference to the crews' lives. Thank you for your support.
