Story

St Mary's Church is a 12th century Grade 1 Listed building which has stood at the heart of this village for over 800 years. It still is a place of prayer, sanctuary, welcome and worship for all who come here, witnessing to the healing love of God for all people.

St Mary's serves the community, offering pastoral care, baptisms, weddings, funerals, Sunday worship and big festival celebrations at Christmas, Easter, Harvest and Remembrance. We visit the sick and housebound and those in hospital, praying for all in need. St Mary's also hosts community events and concerts, and regularly welcomes Buckland CofE Primary School for services and events.

All our income comes from donations and fundraising - your help is greatly appreciated in helping to keep St Mary's open, thriving, and serving the community.
