Help us build a NICE future

NICE is a leading UK charity transforming the lives of disabled children and adults who have movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s. We push the boundaries of their potential by teaching them through conductive education, new ways of controlling the effect of their condition.

Story

At NICE, we never stand still. Every day, we walk beside families whose lives have been changed overnight — from parents trying to make sense of a cerebral palsy diagnosis, to carers who feel lost as their partner’s Parkinson’s symptoms worsen. Whatever the challenge, we’re committed to being there.

To keep doing this — and to do it even better — we need your help.

Your support helps us do more

The need for our services continues to grow, and your generosity ensures we can continue offering the specialist, person-centred support that makes such a difference. With your help, we can reach more families, expand our programmes, and continue giving people the tools they need to live more independent, fulfilling lives.

As part of strengthening our support, we’re continuing to develop the NICE Hub — a warm, welcoming space that brings families together and helps us run activities that complement our core services. Your donation helps us keep this space thriving while allowing us to focus on what truly matters: the people who walk through our doors.

Your gift this Christmas will help us:

• £10 can buy lunch meals in our Red Boots School for a day

• £35 can help subsidise a 1.5-hour session for adults with a neurological condition such as Parkinson’s

• £50 can buy specialised toys or equipment to help learning everyday living skills

• £100 can fund a Milestone Club session for a child and their parent/carer. Milestone Club provides early intervention activities for children as they develop essential movement, communication, and social skills. Your gift offers a child focused time to practise what matters most to them.

• £600 Your gift covers an entire nursery group session, giving a roomful of children the chance to explore, practise new skills, and develop independence in a nurturing, specialist setting.

Together, we can build a NICE future for everyone living with a movement disorder — a future shaped by support, compassion, and the belief that progress is always possible.

Please give what you can this Christmas. Your generosity will help change lives.
