MP Foundation is a UK-registered charity helping vulnerable children, families and communities in Bangladesh, regardless of religion, race or gender. We provide food, clean water, education, medical care, clothing and welfare support, focusing on areas often overlooked by larger organisations most.

Story

Sreenathpur Mosque has served the local community in rural Bangladesh for generations. The first mosque was built from bamboo and clay in the early 1960s. Before Bangladesh gained independence, local villagers rebuilt it in brick using handmade bricks. During the War of Independence, many people sought refuge and shelter in the mosque.

After severe flood damage weakened the building, the community was forced to demolish and rebuild it.

The community has already contributed nearly £10,000. The ground floor is now partly in use, but it still needs flooring, plastering, windows, doors, electrics, water facilities and final finishing.

Our immediate fundraising target is £5,000, while approximately £15,000 is needed to continue and complete the full project.

By donating to this mosque project, you are helping build a house of Allah and taking part in Sadaqah Jariyah.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

Every prayer and lesson held there can become a source of ongoing reward.

Every donation, large or small, makes a difference.

Help us complete this House of Allah. Donate generously.
