Help Us Build Hope for Animals in Hull and East Riding
From worn floors and tired tiles to warm hearts and happy tails, RSPCA Hull & East Riding is rebuilding more than buildings. We are creating a new chapter of care, compassion and community support for animals and people across Hull and the East Riding.
We are raising funds towards an estimated £3 million redevelopment of our Clough Road site, including a modern Community Animal Care and Education Centre and a new state-of-the-art cattery. With your help, we can build the foundations for the next 100 years of local animal welfare.
Why we need your help now
For nearly a century, we have been here when animals needed us most. Since 1903, our team and volunteers have rehabilitated and rehomed thousands of animals across Hull and East Riding, and we have cared for animals from our Clough Road site since 1938.
But demand is growing, and our current buildings are no longer keeping pace with what vulnerable animals, local families, volunteers and our wider community need from us. This redevelopment will help us provide safer, more modern and more welcoming spaces where recovery, learning and kindness can thrive.
What your support will help create
Your donation or fundraising challenge will help us create a state-of-the-art cattery, improved animal care facilities, and community education and wellbeing spaces that transform lives — human and animal alike.
Every year, this new centre will help us provide:
• Care, rehabilitation and new beginnings for 300+ animals who have experienced trauma, neglect or abandonment
• Compassionate education for 1,000+ children learning how to care for animals responsibly
• Purpose, connection and inspiration for 100 volunteers
• Support for 60 people through animal-related wellbeing and community services
• A warm welcome for 10,000 visitors from across Hull and East Riding
This is more than a building project. It is a legacy of compassion for future generations — because life is not always a bowl of biscuits, and every animal deserves a safe place to heal.
