The Burnley Together partnership, initially established as a response to covid, is now responding to the increased demand of the cost-of-living crisis. Increasing numbers of individuals and families are facing crisis, many for the first time.

Working with partners in Calico Homes, Burnley FC in the Community, Burnley Leisure and Culture, Burnley Council and the Message Trust we have developed or venue Down Town, a community shop in the town centre giving access to discounted food, school uniform and warm winter clothing, and home of the Down Town kitchen and café.

The shop is the starting point, our open door with a friendly welcome giving our communities the chance to enter a safe space and be given a hand up and access support services and programmes to develop confidence and skills.

The partners of Down Town Burnley Together have achieved lots. We now ask you to join us and give your support to enable us to achieve our aims and help raise funds to keep the facility open.

All monies donated will help support the running costs to keep the doors open to a warm, welcoming venue.
