Come rain or shine the children love playing in our mud kitchen area; digging, scooping, mixing, stirring and making lots of mud pies. Our mud kitchen has been built for a few years now and has been enjoyed by hundreds of children during this time and therefore is reaching the time when it needs some essential maintenance so the children can continue to enjoy this fantastic learning environment for many more years.

We would also love to be able to improve this area by adding a sand pit which the children can play in together and use to support their physical, mathematical and language development alongside developing their personal, social and emotional needs. We have worked hard this year to provide a sensory area for the children on our play deck and this resource will also provide the children with sensory support.
