Appeal following Church Break In

We have been truly touched by the kind messages of support and the willingness of people to help get the church sorted and back on its feet following the break in. As suggested by many we have now created this fundraising campaign.

We are in Cadishead Salford and our aim is to make a difference in our families and community. We are reaching out and practically expressing God’s love to the people in the surrounding communities. Our hope is that people will come to know God in a real way and know that He can help by giving Hope, Love and Peace in a turbulent world. Our Mission To help ordinary people experience the transforming presence of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives…… • To help them build a meaningful and purpose filled life • To enrich and enhance them by creating a good healthy family unit and encourage them to enhance others • To help them in whatever way possible to fulfil Gods call and purpose in their lives. If you are ever in our community then please come and introduce yourself, we would be delighted to meet you and you will receive a very warm welcome! God bless Pastor John & Yvonne

**********************

Last week our Church was broken into. Thieves stole equipment, musical instruments and even the cleaning, sanitary and food stock, as well as a very old bible that they possibly thought was worth a few bob but has belonged to the church for a very long time. They have caused damage to doors, locks and windows and just made a general mess everywhere turning out all the drawers and cupboards.

As if things are not tough enough right now for everyone during the Covid crisis, a time when we should be pulling together, there are sadly some desperate individuals that have stooped to this despicable level and robbed a church.

The church has been established for over 100 years and has a dedicated and supportive congregation, who donate regularly to pay for its upkeep and to help the local community from supporting the homeless, our local foodbank as well as fundraising for many national charities, such as Macmillan, Hope For Justice and many more, Without these kind, generous and loyal people there would be no Church and this break in has been very upsetting not only for us as Pastors but for the congregation.

Funds will be used to replace the stolen equipment, stock, repair the damage and install a new security system. Any surplus will be used to continue to support the local community, as we have for so many years and hope to continue for many more to come.

Thank you to everyone for your kindness

God Bless
