Story
This year, Christmas is going to be tough for many of us. Whether its being apart from our loved ones or not having money to buy gifts for the children, this years festive season will be lacking in reasons to celebrate.
After such an anxious and uncertain year, Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust wants to make sure that this Christmas is still special, especially for those children living in difficult or disadvantaged circumstances.
That's why we are teaming up with Northsound's Cash for Kids to help their Mission Christmas appeal by arranging for gifts to be delivered to hundreds of children across the North-east, many of whom we got to know well through our #StillStandingFree campaign earlier this year.
You can help us spread that special AFC family Christmas cheer in the same way you supported us in helping 12,000 people during lockdown and beyond when, through #StillStandingFree, we delivered food packages to those most in need and reached out 15,000 fans through welfare calls.
We've marshalled the calls team once again and will be looking forward to chatting with our fans as we embark on a Christmas calling campaign, bringing some festive cheer to those who need it most.
Your donations make all this possible.
Your support makes sure that we, as a charitable trust, can continue to deliver programmes which maximise the potential of our communities by improving physical and mental wellbeing through innovative educational experiences; spreading the joy of football to all and working across generations from the very young to the elderly, including those with dementia.
Please consider donating to AFCCT once more. Your gift to us will ensure we can continue these programmes and deliver hundreds of gifts to those children who otherwise might miss out on the wonder of Christmas.
