Story
We're taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for a Vocational School in Nepal, giving young people the opportunity to learn a trade, earn a living with dignity and build a future in their own country. In a place where the average income is just US$2 a day and opportunities are scarce; this school will offer a life-changing pathway out of poverty.
Your support will help provide funds for:
• Classrooms and workshop buildings
• Sewing machines, wood-turning lathes and other essential equipment and tools
• Training spaces where students can develop real, employable skills
The charity Supporting Nepal’s Children has already built two vocational schools, with over 1,400 graduated into stable employment. With your help, we aim to double their capacity, giving thousands more young people the chance to build a secure and hopeful future.
Plus, every pound raised by fundraisers directly connected with St. James’s Place will be matched by the business, doubling the impact. The matched funds will support Jamie’s Farm, whose transformative programmes help disadvantaged children in the UK grow emotionally, socially, and academically.
