Story

We Are Pulling Together - Saturday 9th July

6 Tameside Rotarians will be pulling the canal boat "Still Waters"" weighing 2.5 tons, the 2.5 miles from Droylsden (Fairfield Junction) to Portland Basin Ashton to raise funds for the Lemonade Project (Building Resilience in young people) run by the Anthony Seddon Fund.

On board will be a number of Tameside Young Carers hopefully having a fun day out and cheering the Rotarian's on.

About the charity

Tameside Rotary is a service voluntary organisation - part of Rotary International. We raise funds to support both the Tameside Community and International projects to relieve poverty, to improve health and to promote education.
