Cancer Care

Our NHS Trust is one of the largest cancer centres in the UK, treating more than 6,000 patients each year. Our charity's vision is to support even better care for patients, by funding the extras over and above what the NHS must or should fund.

Story

Thanks to donations, fundraising and gifts in wills our NHS charity has already been able to support better care for cancer patients in our community through:

- funding staff costs for three years for a mobile cancer care unit

- Brachytherapy equipment funded by our Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal

- complementary therapy for patients on Mulbarton Ward

- staff development through courses and masters degrees

- £1.8m towards a Cancer Care Centre at Cromer Hospital

- grant funding to purchase additional imaging equipment for quicker diagnosis

With your help we can do more to fund the extras, over and above what the NHS must or should fund. Our support covers the whole cancer pathway from diagnosis to treatment, from surgery to aftercare, from patient support to research into the healthcare of the future.

We can support even better care for patients thanks to people like you.
