Canvas for the Mac was created by two passionate supporters of the charity who have experienced the Macmillan Unit in Christchurch Hospital and wanted to give something back.

They said "We are a small team who have created this charity canvas auction with the aim of raising funds for Macmillan Caring Locally, Brick-by-Brick Appeal.

Canvas for the Mac includes canvases donated by local Dorset and national artists and celebrity signed canvases brought to life by professional artists.

We hope to raise enough money to outfit a room in the new build at Christchurch hospital in memory of our two friends who received palliative care at the unit.

An exhibition of the donated canvases for guests of the Mac Unit will be held at The Captains Club Hotel and Spa in mid-May 2022 where a small selection of local artist canvases will be available for auction on the night. Following the exhibition, an on-line charity canvas auction will take place at the end of May 2022.
