At Child Action Northwest, we support children and young people who have often faced significant challenges in their lives. Through our Moments That Matter Fund, we can create opportunities for them to experience the joy, excitement and sense of belonging that every young person deserves.

This fund helps make possible the extra special moments that can have a lasting impact on a young person's life. It might mean ensuring a child wakes up to presents on Christmas morning, celebrating a birthday with gifts and treats, enjoying a trip to the seaside, visiting a theme park, attending a football match, taking part in a new hobby, enjoying a family day out, or experiencing their first holiday away. It can also help provide opportunities that build confidence, create happy memories and allow children to simply enjoy being children.

While these experiences may last only a few hours, days or weeks, the memories they create can stay with a young person forever. These moments help children feel included, cared for and valued. They give them stories to tell, photographs to treasure and experiences that can boost confidence, strengthen relationships and inspire hope for the future.
