CAPE is a dynamic organisation that, by its very nature, is required to change as the needs of the people with complex mental health issues in our communities change. Over a 25 year history, we have been creative in piloting new models of working, that have enabled CAPE to make the most impact.

Story

Now you know what it feels like for me every-day, afraid to go out, afraid to stay in, afraid of what the voices will make me do, afraid of other people hurting me, afraid of being alone The voice of one of our clients describing what he thought the world was experiencing during lockdown.

CAPE clients entered the pandemic from a position of disadvantage, already experiencing pre-existing long-term mental health conditions, economically disadvantaged, many with physical health conditions, already isolated from their local communities through discrimination and fear. Your donation will enable us to continue our vital work in the community and support over 400 individuals per year.
