It's an exciting year at The Carbon Literacy Project, as 2022 sees in our 10 year anniversary!

For our 10th anniversary, we're launching the Carbon Literacy 10 for 10 Accelerator, a fundraising campaign to celebrate this landmark year and help us grow and accelerate the delivery of Carbon Literacy at a much greater scale.

About the 10 For 10 Accelerator

Since 2012, a massive 25,000 of you have gained your Carbon Literacy certificates, and we're continuing to grow at an unprecedented rate. That being said, we know the science demands much more of us in the race against climate change, and we can only continue to work and expand at the rate at which we are funded.

So, what better way to commemorate our 10th year than by raising £250,000, which equates to just £10 per certified learner (25,000) - the same cost as your certificate!

How will this fund help us?

This fund is not to keep us going, nor is it for the same old - it's a launch-pad to far greater action on climate change. It will enable us to support and execute a much greater roll-out of Carbon Literacy, with the overall impact of turning the tide on climate change.

Despite having aspirations to work with and expand into new sectors and geographies, and inspire more people to take action against climate change, we can only support this greater capacity if we have the financial backing to do so.

How to get involved

The easiest way to help is to directly donate to the campaign. Even if you've not yet gained your Carbon Literacy certificate, please choose to support our campaign anyway! And while we recognise that giving this much yourself may not be within the means of some, we're aware that others may have the capacity to raise or donate more, which would be greatly appreciated in helping us achieve our goal.

How you donate is up to you - you can donate £10 directly, £100 to fund 10 more certified learners, or if you're looking for more creative ways to help raise money for the campaign, you could bake, run, ride, host a gig or find ways to get others involved!

But what does 10 for 10 mean to you? Depending on your position there could be different ways to get involved and get creative with the number 10!
