Story
Just 15 minutes from the thriving wine capital of Stellenbosch, 3 out of 4 children go hungry every day.
In 2015, Naked Wines winemaker Carmen Stevens and some local mums decided to do something about it.
They started a soup kitchen serving meals to 300 hungry kids. And when the money and food ran out, the Naked Wines customers stepped in, raising enough funds to feed the kids for a whole year.
Over time, that soup kitchen has grown into a network of school and community kitchens which has fed 38 million nutritious meals to kids who would otherwise have gone hungry.
So, will you help us give Carmen the funds she needs to keep her kitchens open for another year? It costs just…
🥣 £27 to feed a child two meals a day for an entire school year
🥣 £2.50 to feed a child two meals a day for a month
100% of the money you donate goes toward the food – all of the administrative time, resources and other charity tasks are donated by Naked Wines UK.
And remember, if you're a UK tax payer, Gift Aid can add 25p to every £1 you give. So please remember to tick the Gift Aid box if you donate. It won’t cost you a penny more, as the Government adds the extra 25%.
