Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Caroline’s son, Jesse, is the driving force behind Caroline’s There, after already raising more than £33,000 through running the London Marathon in a giant pink brain costume and completing the Polar Night Half Marathon in Tromso, Norway.

Jesse, whose first challenge after launching Caroline’s There, was the 49km Matterhorn Sky ultra-marathon in the Alps, said: “All the way through her treatment, Mum only cared about how it affected everyone else. Knowing there’s no cure is a hard reality and was tough for us all to accept, especially when there are so many medicines and treatments for other cancers.”
