Story
Supporting Crocus Highland
Every year Inverness Choral Society's Christmas Carolthon raise funds for the coming year whilst supporting a local charity. This year we are supporting Crocus Highland, with 50% of all donations going to the charity. We sing favourite Christmas carols and songs between 11am and 3pm with some pieces from Messiah in the middle of the day. Come along and support the singers and help us raise funds for Crocus.
Crocus Highland provides bereavement support for children and young people aged 5-18 years in the Highlands. Their services are available free of charge to children and young people living with grief, regardless of the cause of their bereavement.
The death of someone close to a child can be a time of great sadness, distress or confusion. There may be unanswered questions about what has happened, and the grief of other family members can make it hard for the child or young person to talk about their feelings. Whilst many children and families will be able to manage their loss without targeted support, we are here to provide help and advice where it is needed.

Crocus Highland operates on a referral system with the online referral form available here.
We accept referrals from anyone, but ask that the child or young person and their parents/carers are aware of the referral. If you wish to refer someone to Crocus please contact us via email, phone, or complete the online referral form .
