Four week old kittens Bubble and Squeek were found with siblings Sonny, Cher, Tina and Whitney, in a tied-up plastic carrier bag, dumped on a bridge over the A66 near Darlington. They were rushed to the vets by an RSPCA Animal Rescuer after a kind member of the public called the RSPCA.
The vets gave Bubble and Squeek urgent, life-saving treatment and checked over the other four kittens thoroughly. Click on the link to see the six kittens at the vets just before they went to their foster homes. https://youtube.com/shorts/15Sc6LfirYw?feature=share
All six lucky black kittens are now safe with our foster carers and being well looked after, and are looking for new homes.
Unfortunately, the RSPCA is now dealing with many more stray and abandoned cats and kittens with a resulting strain on funds!
We are very grateful for any help you can give us right now! Any money we raise above our target will help pay for vet treatment needed by other RSPCA Cat Hub cats. Thank you!
Based in Darlington and supported by local branches of the RSPCA, the RSPCA Cat Hub is one of the most successful cat rehoming centres in the country, finding happy, new forever homes for more than 200 cats and kittens a year. The RSPCA Cat Hub is administered by RSPCA Darlington and District Branch.
