Little Dragons is governed by a volunteer committee and funded predominantly through state funding. It provides EYFS education to pre-school children from a wide rural area as well as wrap around care like breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday clubs. It is very inclusive and provides community based education, care and support to a host of children; some of these have very complex, special needs and some are within the social care system.

It is true to say that the Pre-school is in a constant state of commercial pressure. This is sadly typical of the sector but in order for us to remain open beyond the next few months, the setting needs a mixture of significant fund raising, tight cost controls, very difficult personal decisions and collaboration by all (parents, staff and committee alike). That said, with plans now being set and with your support we know we can sustain much needed local services.
