Story
This year has been tough for everyone, but especially for young cancer patients and their families. Although their isolation is nothing new, the pandemic has resulted in some feeling their diagnoses were delayed and others having treatments postponed. It has put more of a strain on families already stretched finances and meant they couldnt socialise, even at a distance.
Now, as lockdown eases and we settle into our new normal, young cancer patients and their families are facing new challenges and anxieties. While many of us are seeing our friends, getting back into school or work and taking trips away, some young cancer patients are still facing strict guidelines and an uncertain future.
Our services are needed now more than ever before and so is your support.
