Exclusive Movie Screening: ‘Join or Die’, followed by drinks at The Avenue

Thursday, October 3 | 7:45 PM

The Avalon Theater | 5612 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015

Join us for an exclusive private screening of the upcoming documentary “Join or Die,” a movie about why you should join a club. This inspiring, award-winning film explores the groundbreaking research of the social scientist Robert Putnam, whose book “Bowling Alone” argues that the key to a healthy democracy and a happy life is simple: Join a group. The screening will feature a Q&A with “Join or Die” director and producer (and D.C. native) Pete Davis about making the film, growing up Catholic, and why getting together with people in-person might just save your life.
