Immigration & Refugee Services + The Atlas of Remedies

Hello, everyone. Thank you for your interest in The Atlas of Remedies. This short novel concerns migration at the turn of the century; in particular, it follows two migrant children who must travel, across the world on their own, to reunite with their mother in New York. As I was writing the story, I was keenly aware that in our own time, too many children have been forced to leave their native countries and seek homes elsewhere, often traveling vast distances by themselves. In connection with my public readings for this book, I hope to raise funds in support of migrants to our city. If you are able to donate to the Immigration & Refugee Services Program of Catholic Charities, which you can read about below, please do. Thank you in advance. – Paul Jaskunas
