With Autumn fast approaching, and Halloween only around the corner on Tuesday 31st October (and it falling perfectly on a weekday this year!!), there is a fantastic opportunity across all CCG Offices to get into the Halloween spirit 🎃 and get dressed up in your spookiest/ funniest/ most creative costumes to raise money for Catalyst Foundation's S.H.E Programme.
Catalyst Foundation is the charitable arm of Catalyst Care Group in the United Kingdom, falling under their house of brands as their ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ initiative.
The Foundation is on a mission to empower vulnerable individuals by providing consistent, long-term support to those in need of assistance. Support offered is tailored to every selected individual’s specific needs and devised into a sustainable plan that will help them journey towards becoming the best version of themselves.
The S.H.E (Secure, Hope, Empowered) Programme focuses on empowering girl-child education across Africa, by removing the barriers that vulnerable girls in particular face when accessing education.
Across Africa, 32.6 million girls of primary and lower secondary school age are out of school. This number rises to 52 million when looking at girls of upper secondary school age. As a result of not going to school, girls may become victims of: - child abuse, child rape, early child marriages/pregnancies, HIV/AIDS, and the list goes on ...
This is where Catalyst Foundation comes in and tries to bridge this gap, as every girl-child has the right to an education!
