If you would like to take on the challenge of running 26.2 miles and raising £2,000 to support local disadvantaged children and families, we'd love to hear from you!

How your support makes a difference:
The Catholic Childrens Society is one of the oldest charities supporting disadvantaged children and families. We work with all faiths and none. Our focus is to provide support as early as possible and help those in greatest need.
- Mental health services: We deliver therapeutic services in schools to provide early intervention for children with complex mental health needs. We help children improve their emotional wellbeing and achieve their full potential.
- Family support: We support families living in some of the most deprived areas of the country. Our Ofsted outstanding early years settings provides free educational activities, books and toys to help disadvantaged children have the best possible start in life.
- Emergency help for families in crisis: Our Crisis Fund provides immediate financial support for families facing a crisis in their lives. We recently prevented a family from being made homeless by paying a months rent whilst the father recovered from a road accident. The father said:
You are the only charity that has come to our aid and at times I have felt that no-one cared enough about our situation to lend a helping hand when we so desperately needed it. Thank you so very much
