In 2027, the Contemporary Glass Society continues its vital role in championing glass as a dynamic, relevant, and evolving art form. We are also fundraising for our 30th Anniversary year's events- So please support the campaign.

Closes 31/12/2026

At the CGS we are passionate about glass. Our aim is to make sure that glass art receives the recognition it deserves. We want to inspire makers to create and experiment with this amazing material, and we want to offer everyone the opportunity to see and enjoy the best of this captivating art-form.

Story

In 2026, the Contemporary Glass Society (CGS) continues to champion glass as one of the most exciting and innovative materials in contemporary art.

Over the past year, CGS has supported artists, connected makers with audiences, and strengthened the visibility of contemporary glass through exhibitions, talks, publications, and professional opportunities. This campaign is about building on that momentum — and ensuring this vital work can continue.

“Being part of CGS has given my work visibility and confidence at a crucial stage in my career.”
