Chabad Community Care are in desperate need for Defibrillator
Chabad Community Care supports over 250 elderly, lonely and vulnerable people within the Manchester Jewish Community.
They run a day centre in Sale Synagogue which brings in 40-70 Jewish Seniors each time. They provide them with Breakfast, a Shiur, Yoga on chairs, cards, bingo, raffles, arts and crafts, manicures, and a 3 course hot lunch.
For many, this is the only time that they leave their house to meet other people. Most importantly it provides them with a wonderful environment to socialize with other people. For some it will be there only hot meal of the week as they are unable to cook for themselves. The Day Centre is a lifeline for many of the elderly who are dependent upon the volunteers who taxi them to the Day Centre.
Unfortunately Sale Synagogue does not have a defibrillator. Chabad Community Care desperately needs one there to ensure the safety of our Seniors.
