Challenge for Change Appeal

Campaign by Jamie's Farm

Help more young people build confidence, resilience and self-belief through life-changing experiences on the farm.

Closes 24/06/2026

Jamie’s Farm hosts farm-based residential and day visit programmes for young people, that combine responsibility, strong relationships and structured reflection in nature‑based settings. Our preventative approach supports young people at critical moments, reducing exclusion and improving wellbeing.

Story

Between 6 and 24 June, every donation to Jamie’s Farm’s Challenge for Change Appeal will be doubled — plus an extra 25% in Gift Aid if you’re eligible.

Right now, 1 in 2 young people say confidence is one of the most important skills they need for their future. Yet many of the young people who arrive at Jamie’s Farm feel disconnected, anxious, and lacking belief in themselves.

At Jamie’s Farm, we see extraordinary change happen.

Through purposeful farm work, caring for animals, cooking and eating together, and challenges like hiking up mountains, young people begin to see themselves differently. They develop resilience, emotional awareness, self-esteem and a renewed sense of possibility.

Your donation can help create that turning point.

• £25 becomes £50 through match funding

• That could fund a life-changing one-to-one horse work session

• Helping a young person build trust, confidence and emotional resilience

Every donation made during our appeal will go twice as far. Help us get to our £70,000 target and together we can raise a total of £140,000, doubling all donations to change young people's lives.

Take on the Challenge for Change with Kieran

As part of this Appeal, our Farming Apprentice Kieran is walking 320 miles between our farms in Bath and Skipton, via Monmouth and Hereford, over 18 days. His goal is simple: to raise funds so more young people can experience the life-changing impact of time on the farm.

By supporting the Appeal, you will help create more of these turning points for young people and encourage Kieran as he walks to raise funds for exactly that purpose.
