Let's talk about the other 'C' word. Cancer has continued to affect the lives of thousands of local people. Today, like every day, 2,500 new patients will take their first steps through the doors of one of Bristol city centre hospitals. We know that for many of these patients, their journey through the hospitals will be one of the hardest of their lives.

We believe every single one of them deserves the best possible treatment.

Challenge Against Cancer recognises the 13,000 dedicated NHS staff working across our hospitals.

You can support them and the patients they treat by choosing your own challenge based on the number 13,000.

Walk 13,000 steps, jog three kilometres or run 13 laps around your garden. You could climb 13 flights of steps or hula hoop 130 times. Make the challenge your own and be as creative as possible around the number. Do a challenge on your own, or get a whole team of friends, family or colleagues involved and see how much you can raise for Bristol Against Cancer. We cant wait to see what you come up with!
