Chaplaincy Lent Project 2024

Home and Abroad is the Chaplaincy 's project for Lent 2024 in support of the local foodbank (Home) and CAFOD (Abroad) - Catholic Agency for Overseas Development.

CAFOD is heavily involved in the relief of suffering caused by the conflict in Israel and Palestine. CAFOD has the potential to reach so many people because they are a member of a global Church network with a presence in 165 countries. The local Church is trusted even in the most dangerous countries, regions and communities regardless of religion. This means that your support will help those who are truly in need. The Vineyard is a charity which runs a drop in centre for people who are homeless, and facilitates a foodbank. We can support the drop-in-centre by donations of toiletries and the foodbank by specific items of food.
