Story
🌱 A Growing Youth Movement
Charlbury Youth Club has had an inspiring year of growth in 2024/2025, reaching 130 young people through our various clubs and activities. From the launch of Art, Philosophy, and Badminton Clubs, to the founding of the Charlbury Youth Town Council, our youth have stepped forward to shape their own community.
When I joined the Youth Town Council, I explained the idea and was supported by the other councillors and the Youth Ambassador to make it into a reality. I'm really excited for what this will become for not only other teenagers, but the whole community. — Roman (14), Chair of the Youth Town Council
Through youth-led projects like the Tree Hugging Festival, Beakon Magazine, and a Wildflower Strip project by the local skate park, young people are connecting with mentors, building confidence, and reimagining what our community looks like.
☀️ New Horizons for 2025/2026
At the end of 2024/25 our young people voted for what clubs and activities they wanted us to provide this year. With your support, we’re aiming to sustain our existing provisions and more!
