PBC Foundation provides vital support and information to those affected by Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). Our services include our helpline, regular publications, regional support groups, and the education of medical practitioners. We also support research into finding a cause/ cure for PBC.

Story

I am raising funds for the PBC Foundation.

This foundation does great work and offers great support.

The PBC Foundation is the only UK organisation exclusively dedicated to providing support and information to those affected by Primary Biliary Cholangitis, a rare, progressive and autoimmune liver condition with no known cause or cure.

They offer a range of services that include a telephone helpline, App, workshops, online sessions, volunteer network etc. The services available to those suspecting they may have PBC and are looking for assistance in diagnosis, newly diagnosed patients looking for information, carers looking for support, Foundation members whose PBC has progressed or changed and also family members who have a loved one going through PBC looking for support and also practical information at a most difficult time.

They empower every member to take control of their own health and to seek the best possible treatment.

I have been inspired by the dedication and support of this small charity who support so many people and show them that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I hope that future research projects may find a cure and even the smallest donation will make a difference.
