We need your help!

Over the past 12 months Actions Not Words have built a Children's Home & Rescue Centre with the support of OnCourse. Now that the construction phase is almost finished we need YOUR help to raise £24,000 to launch the first phase of the home which will provide safe housing for 8 vulnerable children. We would love for you to run your own fundraiser to raise money for this project, or ask your friends and family to donate.

Why £24,000? The money we raise will help us launch the first phase of our childrens home. The money will be used to:

1. Educate 8 children: school fees, bus transport, uniforms, books & stationary.

2. Cover medical expenses for 8 children: regular check-ups, medication, and doctor fees.

3. Provide safe housing for 8 children: security, transport, maintenance, and general expenses.

4. Food + general shopping expenses: clothing, toiletries, and bedding.

5. Counselling and parental care: wage for a house mum, and both male and female counsellors.

Our Childrens Home has been a long-term dream of ours, offering a safe place for children who have been living in high-risk homes, and are in need of a refuge. Our primary focus will be to help children living with HIV, and this building will provide a home for children to simply be children, receiving 24-hour care, and creating an environment that best sets them up for progressing into education.
