Following a very successful community fundraising campaign, and financial support from the UK Government, local council, National Lottery and other charitable trusts, the new Chinley & Buxworth Community Centre was opened in April 2025.

The centre is a thriving hub for our villages. In just a year, we have almost doubled the footfall of the old community centre, and now welcome over 600 users per week to a wide range of activities for all ages, including exercise classes and social groups.

We are now focussing our fundraising efforts on refurbishing the outdoor courts for netball, tennis and football training.
