ChoirBLAST, celebrates the joy of contemporary group singing through our annual festival and community initiatives. Bringing together choirs from across the world, ChoirBLAST creates accessible choir projects for all ages and abilities, uniting communities.

Story

At ChoirBLAST, we believe that singing together changes lives. A choir isn’t just about music – it’s about joy, belonging, laughter and support. When voices join in harmony, something magical happens: people feel connected, confident and part of something bigger than themselves.

More Than a Festival

Each June, ChoirBLAST Festival brings thousands of singers and music-lovers together in Godalming for the UK’s biggest free celebration of contemporary choirs. In 2025, over 78 choirs and 3,000 singers filled the town with music.

We loved performing at ChoirBLAST 2024, a joyful, warm festival celebrating choir camaraderie and diverse communities. With no large-scale opportunities for non-competitive choirs, ChoirBLAST stands out. The event fostered strong connections among choirs, sharing friendship and music. We eagerly anticipate ChoirBLAST 2025!

- Gayle from Sevenoaks Sings - an inclusive, community choir open to all ages and backgrounds.

But our work doesn’t end with the festival. Thanks to your support, we now run three weekly choirs, reaching over 90 people of all ages and abilities – from children in schools to adults with disabilities.

Weekly choir sessions have become a cherished and transformative part of our weekly routine, offering students a joyful, inclusive, and enriching experience that extends far beyond music.
