Story
💤 The Community Sleepout at Victory Park
On Friday 14th November 2025, we’re coming together under the stands of Victory Park, the home of Chorley FC, for one night to experience what it means to sleep without a bed.
While it’s only one night for us, it raises awareness of the daily struggles faced by people experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, or family hardship.
🖤🤍 Why We’re Doing This
Too many people in Chorley and across Lancashire are living without safe, secure housing or the family support they need. By joining the Community Sleepout, you’ll be helping three local charities work together to make a difference:
Chorley FC Community Foundation
Using the power of football to deliver projects that improve health, inclusion, and opportunities for people of all ages.
Let’s Make a Difference
Building affordable housing and tackling housing insecurity in our community.
Home-Start Central Lancashire
Supporting local families with young children through difficult times, offering practical help and emotional support.
✨ One Night, Big Impact
For one night, participants will swap their warm beds for sleeping bags and cardboard, experiencing a small glimpse of the discomfort faced by so many in our communities.
“It’s not about pretending we know what homelessness feels like – it’s about showing solidarity, raising awareness, and raising funds to help those who face these challenges every single day.”
📢 How You Can Help
Donate – Every pound you give will be shared between the three charities, directly supporting people in Chorley who need it most.
Join Us – Sign up to take part and spend the night at Victory Park. Together, we can raise even more awareness and funds.
Spread the Word – Share this page with friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our target.
🎯 Our Target
We’re aiming to raise £10,000. That’s enough to support families in crisis, build more affordable housing, and expand local community projects to help hundreds of people.
Your support means everything. Whether you donate, join us on the night, or simply share our story, you’re part of making Chorley a stronger, more caring community.
Together, we can make a difference – one night, one community, one goal.
