This holiday season, join our united community in making an impact on the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness. At Hackney Night Shelter, our vision extends beyond the walls of the shelter. Our Christmas Appeal 2023 is about collective action and ensuring that the shelter remains open for those in need, and to help us operate this winter in an extra location, offering 10 extra emergency beds when the temperatures drop below 0 degrees.

Our Goal:

This year, our mission is clear: Raise £50,000 to ensure that Hackney Night Shelter remains open 365 days a year, providing short-term accommodation and hot meals while preparing for future expansion and a focus on our emergency winter initiative.

Winter Initiative:

When temperatures drop to 0 degrees, our winter initiative will come into play. We will open up temporary emergency accommodation, offering 10 beds a night to prevent people from sleeping out in freezing weather. Your support ensures that those experiencing homelessness will have a safe and warm place to stay, especially during the harshest

Past Success:

Thanks to your support in previous years, we achieved a remarkable milestone last year. We raised £50,000, enabling us to increase our bed capacity from 20 to 26, and this year we're expanding our services to include emergency winter accommodation.
