Christmas in hospital is going to be even more lonely this year with COVID restrictions in place. You can help Northamptonshire Health Charity make a difference and bring a smile to patients by donating to our Christmas Gifts appeal, helping to ensure every patient receives a gift on Christmas day.
Northamptonshire Health Charity supports your local hospitals, including Northampton General and all the community and mental health hospitals in the county (Berrywood, Isebrook, Corby, St Marys). There are many patients, mostly elderly, that have nobody, which means no visitors and no gift on Christmas day. This year, with the pandemic affecting us all it still isnt known when visitors will be allowed back into hospitals so receiving a present on the day will make even more of a difference to every single patient.
Last year, every inpatient received a gift bag containing items, which helped bring a smile to their face and remind them people are thinking about them. Every year, the charity team are blown away by the generosity and kindness shown by the local community in helping to achieve this goal.
It is appreciated that Christmas shopping will be affected by COVID19 this year so if you'd prefer to make a donation via this page we will be able to use the funds raised to purchase gifts for patients on your behalf. Alternatively, we do have an Amazon Wish List if you'd prefer to donate something from there, it will be delivered directly to the charity office: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/31PEFL8LFNRT3.
With your help lets make sure that no one is forgotten at what will be a very different and difficult Christmas for everyone.
Your support really does make a difference!
