Story

Those who receive these gifts have often never experienced such love before:

“I can’t believe this is for us!" one family screamed as they opened their front door.

Christmas is a joyful time when we come together to celebrate the Lord Jesus’ birth. Yet, for a family with a loved one in prison it can be very difficult.

Prison Fellowship Northern Ireland’s Christmas Hope project celebrates over 40 years of delivering hampers and toy parcels for prisoners’ families and released prisoners. With the current cost of living crisis many are facing immense difficulties. Christmas Hope is a practical way to bring the light, love, and hope of Jesus into people’s homes.

In 2022, we distributed 564 food hampers and 720 toy parcels to those impacted by crime and imprisonment. Items are donated by churches, community groups and individuals throughout NI and volunteers and PFNI staff bring the whole project together.

We are committed to bringing hope again this Christmas and need your support. For more information, please contact the PF office or visit pfni.org
