Story
Help care for Derby’s rescue animals spending Christmas at Abbey Street.
This Christmas, dozens of rescue animals will wake up in our care. Some frightened, some recovering, and some finally safe after being neglected.
For many of them, Abbey Street is the first place they’ve felt protected in a long time.
While families across Derby celebrate at home, these animals will be spending Christmas with us.
As an independent charity, we rely on your support to keep our doors open and give our animals the safe and warm Christmas they deserve, full of love and care.
How your donation helps
Every gift makes a real difference for an animal in our care.
£6 - Food and treats for one animal for a day
£12 - 24 hours of warmth, comfort, food and a toy for one animal
£25 - Give a neglected new arrival an essential vet check
£40 - Keep one animal safe, cared for and fed for four days
£100 - Safe Hands bundle: support one animal through the Christmas period
And if you can Gift Aid your donation, we can claim an extra 25% at no cost to you, giving even more animals the safety they deserve.
Your kindness keeps them safe
Behind every warm bed, every gentle cuddle, and every moment of safety is someone who cared enough to give.
By donating today, you’ll be part of the hands keeping Derby’s rescue animals safe this Christmas, including many we can’t publicly share.
From all of us at RSPCA Derby, and every animal spending Christmas with us: thank you for helping give them a Christmas in Safe Hands.
