For many children, Christmas is a time of excitement, presents and happy memories.

But for children and families affected by trauma, bereavement, crime or financial hardship, Christmas can feel very different.

Some families are already carrying enormous emotional and financial pressure, and for some of the children we support, there may be very little waiting for them on Christmas morning.

That is why our Christmas Wish Box Campaign matters.

A gift chosen especially for them

Every child referred to our campaign is able to request a Christmas gift up to the value of £25.

These are not generic gifts.

Each present is chosen specifically for an individual child based on something they would genuinely like to receive - whether that is a favourite toy, game, creative activity or something linked to a special interest.

We want every child to receive something that feels personal to them.

Every child deserves to feel remembered at Christmas.

How your donation helps

Your donation will help us purchase, wrap and deliver Christmas gifts directly to children and families supported by Three Nines Children’s Charity.

For some children, the gift funded through this campaign may be one of the only presents they receive this Christmas.

A gift cannot take away what a child or family has experienced, but it can create a moment of happiness, comfort and hope during an incredibly difficult time.

It can give a child something special to open on Christmas morning and remind them that somebody is thinking of them.

Bringing hope after hurt

Three Nines Children’s Charity supports children and families affected by traumatic incidents attended by the emergency services.

We exist for the moment after the blue lights fade.

This Christmas, with the help of our supporters, we want to make sure children facing some of the hardest circumstances are not forgotten.
