Waterloo Community Counselling – Life-changing counselling in the heart of London
For over 30 years, Waterloo Community Counselling (WCC) has delivered life-changing counselling services and mental health support, providing over 7,500 hours of high-quality, individual therapy to 695 people alone last year.
WCC are one of the few organisations in London offering Low-Cost Counselling, ensuring long-term, professional mental health support remains accessible to those facing financial hardship. Their clients come from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have experienced loss, and abuse, leading to anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.
At the heart of WCC is their Multilingual Counselling Service. This service offers free, mother-tongue therapy in over 23 different languages to refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants—many of whom have survived traumatic experiences of exile, torture, human trafficking, and modern slavery. Beyond therapy, WCC also offers holistic support and social activities to help out most marginalised and isolated service users feel safe, connected and empowered.

£55 – Lay the foundation for healing. Your company’s support could go towards funding a 90-minute initial consultation with a senior counsellor, helping a vulnerable individual take their first step toward recovery.
£90 – Break down barriers with multilingual counselling. A donation of this size could go towards ensuring refugees and asylum-seekers receive culturally appropriate, trauma-informed care with a session of multilingual counselling and holistic support.
£150 – Foster connection and well-being. This contribution could fund a refugee group outing, covering travel, lunch, and activities such as cooking classes, pottery workshops, or beekeeping—reducing isolation and promoting integration.
£480 – Provide lasting stability. Could fund a time-limited counselling program, offering life-changing mental health support to those in need.
£1,080 – Champion inclusion and mental well-being. Could be spent on 12 multilingual counselling sessions, ensuring refugees and asylum-seekers receive the specialized care they need to rebuild their lives.
£1,800 – Create a year of community and joy. Could fund an entire year of social activities and excursions for our refugee social group, helping combat isolation and foster friendships.
