Story

Its hard to imagine the pain and anguish that people feel in war torn situations such as Syria or Afghanistan or to understand what it feels like to know that the only way to survive is leave your home country, possibly with just what you can carry. Daily we see images of destitute families making dangerous journeys to seek a safer life. We cant help all of those families but the Circle of Friends - Warwick with your help is going to help one such family.

We aim to empower a refugee family to settle in Warwick to lead safe and independent lives here. By identifying housing, giving them the know how to access education for their children, register with local doctors, develop English language skills, find employment and locate community networks, we hope that within two years, they will be confident, settled and integrated.

To do this, we need to raise £10,000 now so that we can formally apply to the Government to register our intention and be allocated a refugee family.

Father Hudsons Care is helping us by managing our fundraising so that we can claim gift aid. You can be assured that any donations and associated gift aid will be ring-fenced for the Circle of Friends Warwick.

Please join us on this journey to help another family start a brighter future.
