We support practical housing projects and provide advice and training for churches, voluntary and community groups who work with homeless people. We campaign as the national voice of the churches on housing and homelessness.

Story

Citadel is a volunteer-led homelessness prevention project which supports people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, to find and/or sustain their tenancies and establish a home. Once volunteers are recruited, trained and DBS checked, Citadel Co-ordinators match them with a person referred to Citadel for support. Co-ordinators and volunteers work closely with people who have been referred, identifying their needs and providing personalised support.

Volunteers play a fundamental part in people’s journey from homelessness to belonging. Could you volunteer with people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness to make your community stronger? Or could you make a donation to support our life-changing work?
