This May, Team Citco is coming together to take on the TRIBE Relay for Love I Powered by Echelon.

The Goal: Each team will ride 100 miles in teams of 2-4 people to help fight modern slavery and empower the survivors. As a company, we aim to ride at least 500 miles to take a stand for the 50 million people trapped in modern slavery worldwide.

The Cause: We're aiming to raise at least £5,000 to support the work of TRIBE Freedom Foundation; a community charity on a mission to end modern slavery and empower the survivors.

Why: Over recent years, the number of people trapped in modern slavery has been increasing, both globally and in the UK (learn more). TRIBE Freedom Foundation needs our support to help prevent modern slavery and increase access to support for growing numbers of survivors.

The financial industry also has a key role to play in the prevention of modern slavery and fostering business practices which can help to tackle it.

TRIBE Freedom Foundation works by raising awareness of modern slavery, increasing access to long-term survivor support (including safe accommodation for survivors) and working with key communities to help prevent modern slavery.

Donations to our campaign will support TRIBE Freedom Foundation to develop and grow their key projects, including the TRIBE Survivor Financial Empowerment Hub; a digital learning platform to promote survivor financial well-being (learn more here).

Together, we will go further and faster to end modern slavery.
