Organised by Cherish the ChildrenDue to an increase in need, we are looking to get more children off the streets, out of the slums and into our education and feeding programme. To do this we need additional classrooms at Cherish and are fundraising to help finance this.
Cherish the Children Charity was set in 2019 after witnessing first hand the dire conditions in which the children in the slums of Nakuru, Kenya, live and lack of access to education. For the majority of children at Cherish, the only food they receive is the food they are given at school.
The funds raised will be used to help finance the building of 2 new classrooms, increasing the number of children who can access a free education and feeding programme.
Resources and labour for this project will be sourced locally, supporting workers within the slums.
