Cleve Archers is an inclusive club and actively seek opportunities to increase participation from all sectors of the community. As one of the largest clubs in the South West, being able to cater for their current members and service the ever-present demand for archery is vital for the club to continue to grow and develop. Our project will transform an unused agriculture field into an environmental friendly community led venue for the sport of archery. It will include, site preparation and levelling, car park grading, new entrance and security gate, wheelchair access to the archery range, landscaping, and a clubhouse with an indoor venue for mixed sport including an archery shooting range. This project will play a vital role in the continued delivery of archery to the local community and further increase participation in the sport, offering opportunities to develop archers and deliver coaching to a higher level. An archery-specific facility will allow the club to continue to successfully train and develop archers from grassroots to elite level.

Story

This project will play a vital role in the continued delivery of archery to the wider community and increase participation in the sport.

We would like to start laying a car park with wheel chair access, sewage and water connection, and club house foundations. Completion of this phase would allow the members, and the community, to enjoy the facility and generate income while we continue with the fund raising for phase 3, the clubhouse and utilities.

The club has a shortfall of £37,000 and we are appealing to companies in our area to support us in developing the archery range and multi sports facility in Hambrook, South Gloucestershire by way of sponsorship, building material, or direct funding grant.
