Join us at 08.00 on Thursday 22 May 2025 at the Park Run start point on Southampton Common, as we get ready for a busy day of CLIA activities - we're going to start with a Fun Run to get the day pumping.
We're pacing to support Family Holiday Charity - for families facing some of life's toughest challenges a holiday is often out of reach but makes all the difference.
We're supporting families like Anna's. Last year, she had to flee from her home, leaving behind friends and family, to be safe from domestic abuse. Building a new life with her 2 year old daughter has been hard, and a holiday impossible to consider.
Leaving the holiday was bittersweet, but it was nice knowing we were returning to continue building our lives without constant fear. Since being home, I’ve reflected on the highlights. The sentimental value of Pembrokeshire stands out to me. I only get to visit my dad’s house in secret and see family occasionally, so being back in a place of comfort was so special. It gave me a warm, cuddly feeling, making me feel close to my family after such a hard time.
