Will you be here for children this autumn? Join our virtual adventure and climb the height of a mountain, from wherever you like!
With Climb for Children, youll climb the equivalent of Snowdon (7,120 steps), Kilimanjaro (38,680 steps) or Everest (58,070 steps) from 20-26 September. You can climb stairs at home, use the stair machine at the gym, or venture into the great outdoors to a local hill or set of steps.
Sign up, and well send you your very own route map and NSPCC vest, so you can really look the part on your climb. And there are loads of free apps you can download to track your climb and keep you on course to reach your chosen peak.
The past year has been tough for everyone, but especially children. And the effects of the pandemic will be long lasting. So, as children embark on the first normal school year in quite some time, you can embark on your own challenge to be here for them. Whether theyre struggling to adjust, have anxieties over their future, or were trapped inside unsafe homes during lockdown, they need our support now more than ever.
Last year, our Childline counsellors had over 73,000 counselling sessions with children and young people about their mental and emotional health. By raising £120, you could help answer 30 calls to Childline, from children who have nowhere else to turn. Well also reward you with your very own medal!
Whether youre a keen hill climber, a seasoned stepper, or youre just looking for a way to have fun and stay active, join our epic challenge. Youll be part of a team of people from up and down the country who are stepping up for children, and really making a difference.
